"A legend wherein long ago, a chief of theirs had fathered a child to a very powerful witch and mythology further states this child, a son, is later transformed into something this clan had never before seen. Something werewolf and vampire."
”..to me, Van Gogh is the finest painter of them all. Certainly the most popular, great painter of all time. The most beloved, his command of colour most magnificent. He transformed the pain of his tormented life into ecstatic beauty. Pain is easy to portray, but to use your passion and pain to portray the ecstasy and joy and magnificence of our world, no one had ever done it before. Perhaps no one ever will again. To my mind, that strange, wild man who roamed the fields of Provence was not only the world’s greatest artist, but also one of the greatest men who ever lived.”

Snow was determined to finally get a picture of her daughter and Killian together; Emma had made such a fuss during her last attempt to capture that perfect Kodak moment. Killian and Emma were walking along behind her and Charming as they took an afternoon stroll through the city and it was then that she saw the perfect opportunity. She pulled her camera out of her purse attempting to look nonchalant as she scanned her surroundings, trying to make it look like she was snapping photos of the city life. Charming realized what his wife was doing and shook his head as he let out a small chuckle. ”She’s going to see you,” he whispered to his wife. “And she’s going to hear you,” retorted Snow as she whacked his arm. Charming rubbed his arm, trying to look as hurt as possible, but Snow simply dismissed him with a look and continued her mission. It was harder than it looked; every time Snow turned to face the young couple, Emma would eye her warily and face away from the camera. Snow knew when to admit defeat so she lowered the camera and focused on walking forward, back to the hotel. The group turned the last corner when Charming nudged Snow gently, “Do it now.” Snow peeked over her shoulder and saw that Emma and Killian had slowed down to look at the shops across the street, unaware and unsuspecting. She turned around and lifted her camera when Killian looked up and gave her a knowing smile. The corner of Snow’s mouth lifted in response as she quickly took a shot and turned back to face her husband, hoping that Emma hadn’t noticed the flash.
It wasn’t until she and Charming got back to the privacy of their own room that Snow was finally able to view the photo of Emma and Killian. Hitting the playback button her smile turned into a grin and she handed the camera over to her husband. “I told you I would get it.” ”I never doubted that you would. The challenge now is to hide it from Emma and you know she will wrestle this camera out of your hands and make sure it’s deleted for good.” Snow took the camera back and popped out the memory card. “Don’t worry,” she smiled and leaned over to grab her laptop, “I’m making copies.”
